Punam Subba is currently a student at Advance Technology Academy of Cuyahoga Community College. She was born and raised in a refugee camp of Nepal. Punam came to America at the age of 10 with her family in late 2014. She is one the current vice president of a student run led organization called Equalistic Dream For Hope, an organization that makes an impact on immigrant and undocumented students by giving information about problems these students encounter in schools; and suggest solutions schools can adapt to let these students have a better experience and learn the necessary need for a bright future.

As a refugee student herself, she understands the struggle and challenges most immigrant/refugee/undocumented students go through in daily life at school. ISSA gave her the opportunity to connect and support the students like her. She is currently working in ISSA as a Youth Program trainee to support the immigrant/refugee/undocumented students in NorthEast Ohio high schools.
She likes watching TV shows, reading books, spending time with friends and family and eating delicious food.
